Killeen Goat Gouda *200g*

Killeen is a semi-hard goat cheese, made from pasteurised milk, on a small goat farm in County Galway, Ireland. This is a fresh and nutty goat Gouda-style cheese which has its roots in the Netherlands. Marion the cheese maker is a Dutch lady who fell in love with an Irish goat farmer. The Irish influence has given Killeen a unique style and taste. It's sweet and nutty, and its "goatyness" is never overpowering. Aged for 12 months. It's thought to pair best with red wines as well as fresh grapes.
