In Hawaii, poke means "to slice". By extension, the term is now widely used for dishes made of rice with pieces of marinated raw fish, usually tuna, on top. It is served with fresh fruits and vegetables. This sauce is made from tamari soy sauce, sesame oil and vinegar is perfect to accompany either fish or vegan poke dishes.

Slightly sweet with a strong sesame flavour, it also carries the saltiness of soybeans fermentation well. The tamari soy sauce used in it adds a pleasant thickness to the poke sauce. Made without additives and preservatives.
