Raisins soaked in Sauternes sweet white wine, and covered in dark chocolate. The wine is subtly balanced, and makes the raisins soft and juicy. Comes in a pretty golden serving box. 

Artisan Confiseur Dragées Reynaud was founded by Denise and André Reynaud in 1956 in a small workshop in Marseille. The idea was to utilize the abundance of the finest, locally grown Provencal almonds by making artisanal dragées. Decades passed, brand new ranges of products have been introduced, however Dragées Reynaud is still a small-scale family-run business with a strong commitment to sourcing Provencal ingredients for their chocolate covered nuts and dragées. Even though they are now known and coveted all over the world, their deep connection to the tradition of Provence remains the same. So much so that they are one of the last four remaining manufacturers of traditional sugared almonds in France.
