An exquisite dark bar made with in-house freeze dried cocoa pulp - a unique invention of Naive.

The fresh cocoa bean is surrounded by a white mucilage that surrounds the seeds inside a cocoa pod, also referred to as the pulp. Freeze-dried some of the pulp resulted in a naturally sweet, a meringue-like goodness whicj was then added to the fine dark chocolate. With this bar Naive wanted to challenge the outdated and orthodox chocolate industry with its futuristic concept and invite curious eaters to taste chocolate in a completely reformed way. The beans used in this bar come from Jaguar Trees: Jaguar cacao is unusual and rare. It is sadly becoming extinct as the Jaguar trees rapidly disappear from the natural habitat in Meso-America. The tree is rarely seen even in areas where it is still appreciated. Most trees exist as relicts or are growing in the wild.
