Hand-picked from cods caught in the Icelandic sea, the liver used for this product are trimmed manually before being smoked over beech wood and cooked in the tin. No oil is added – all is released from the liver naturally during cooking. Each year of fishing brings a new vintage as, much like fine wine, cod liver improves with time.

Cod liver is a delicate, refined starter, best enjoyed on small pieces of toast as an appetiser accompanied by asparagus tips or on a green bean salad seasoned with olive oil and lemon.
