Maison Perard Mussel Velouté 780g

Traditional creamy, rich mussel soup. Delicious hot or cold, just make sure to add some croutons and salicornaise. May also slightly dilute it with broth or cream. 

 

Since 1964 Maison Perard have been salvaging fish and salicornia from their local port at Boulogne-Sur-Mer, on the picturesque Côte d'Opale. The founder, initially only serving the dishes based on his own recipes in his own restaurant, was soon facing a growing demand from the locals, to bottle up his delicacies so that customers can also enjoy them in the comfort of their own home. Still very much artisanal, still a family business, Maison Perard's range of soups, veloutés and other delicacies are now more widely available for the ever growing base of their devotees.
