"Guinettes" are French delicacies made by soaking the most perfect, pitted, whole Morello cherries in spirit - this time Armagnac - with the stem still intact, and then coating them in intense dark chocolate. Finally, as the finishing touch, the cherries are dipped in cocoa pearls at their base.
The making of Guinettes requires unique manufacturing skills. Soaking a delicate cherry in selected brandy and coating it in a crunchy dark chocolate shell is a complex process that Mademoiselle de Margaux's chocolatiers have fully mastered since production began in 1969.
Ingredients: Dark chocolate 48% (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter), Armagnac fondant 24.7% (sugar, glucose syrup, water, Armagnac 3%), Morello cherries in alcohol 23.3% (morello cherry, alcohol, water, sugar), chocolate pearls (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, whole MILK powder, MILK fat, natural vanilla flavouring, glazing agent: shellac). Cocoa: 53% minimum.
