Leonard Parli's decadent calissons cream, famous for its intense almond taste, as well as for being made with the highest ratio of calissons paste. Other makers settle with a lower percentage, however Parli's calisson cream consists of 50% calisson paste and 50% candied fruit syrup. The most prominent flavour comes from the crushed Provencal almonds (which make up 42% of the cream's total weight...), followed by the candied melon, and the candied orange peel.
 
Enjoy it on a piece of toasted brioche, in pancakes, in a pot of yogurt, or just straight out of the jar by the spoonful for some much deserved instant pleasure...
