Only the finest shoots are picked with the greatest care. They are then laid flat and dried before being delicately ground between two blocks of granite into a fine powder. The resulting emerald green colour is truly incomparable.

 

Matcha is the only tea of which entire leaves are completely absorbed in water. In the case of the most superior matcha teas, we actually drink the entire thing, and not just the water it is infused in. This experience offers an inimitable feeling on the palate. 

Other than a remarkable tea experience, matcha is also used in pastries, lending its particular flavour and colour to madeleines, financiers, and other cakes. 

 

Brew it at 80°C.
