Candied Italian chestnuts in syrup, made without glucose syrup, just with 57% chestnuts, in a natural syrup of water and sugar, with some genuine Madagascan Bourbon vanilla. An excellent baking ingredient, which is also suitable for garnishing, and finishing desserts such as ice cream cups, puddings, cupcakes. Make sure to save and use the syrup to sweeten drinks, cocktails, pancakes, and to lend them a bit of a fully natural chestnut flavour. 

For 4 generations, Aubenas Imbert® have been selecting the largest, plumpest, most flavourful chestnuts from Ardèche, to transform the fruits in the most traditional method into cream, paste, puree, candied chestnuts and candied chestnuts. 
 
What sets Aubenas Imbert® apart from others is mainly two aspects: the systematic peeling and sorting of all chestnuts before cooking: they remove the skins and their tannins, and also remove any non-perfect chestnuts which would alter the quality of the finished product. 
The other and very important characteristic of all Imbert chestnut products is that they consist of just two key ingredients: chestnuts and sugar. No preservative (which is otherwise very often added to marron glacé), no flavouring, no stabiliser. Just pure candied/creamed chestnuts, with a touch of genuine Madagascan vanilla.
