Fortwenger Nonnette Honey Cakes Filled Blueberry 150g

Soft and moist Alsatian honey cakes filled with myrtille jam and topped with a blueberry icing. 

 

Originally, nonnettes were the cakes that were traditionally given as gifts for Saint-Nicolas. In the Middle Ages, nuns prepared these delicious cakes decorated with blueberry marmalade in monasteries, hence the term "nonnettes".
