Traditional Alsatian pain d'épices made with freshly roasted almonds and hazelnuts (13%)
Made by Fortwenger's pastry chefs in their artisanal workshop in Gertwiller, located between the Alsace wine route and the pre-Vosges hills. Gertwiller is known worldwide as the gingerbread capital.
Excellent as a toast with some toasted butter, or with duck and goose mousse and patés. Pre-sliced for convenience.
