Dashi kombu soy sauce is a subtle and light coloured sauce that combines dashi, a Japanese soup stock made of kombu seaweed, with soy sauce. This soy sauce has a mellow taste, combining the umami flavour of both soy sauce and dashi for a powerful and round taste, long-lasting in the mouth.
Dashi kombu soy sauce goes very well with raw fish. It goes perfectly well with a bowl of rice topped with an egg and is the perfect seasoning for stewed dishes. You can also use it to make sauces and soups.
