Grown in the Province of Imperia, Taggiasca olives differ from other olives for the richness of their flavour, for the pleasant and slightly bitter aftertaste, and for its particular tenderness and very thin skin.

Thanks to their delicacy they are excellent for creating first and second courses, but also delicious side dishes and appetizers. Excellent as a condiment for pasta, added to tomato sauce, to enrich rice-based dishes (cooked or cold), salads, and perfect to accompany meat and fish. A staple of the Ligurian cuisine.
