Calvi Mediterranean Trombette Zucchini Sauce 180g

Meditteranean dipping or cooking sauce prepared with Italian tomatoes, trumpet courgettes, peppers, onions, carrots, extra virgin olive oil, celery, sugar, salt, garlic and aromatic herbs.

Trombetta courgettes are typical of Liguria. Light green in colour, trombetta courgettes take their name from their shape – very long and thin with a final rounding, similar to a trumpet.
They have a sweet and delicate flavor and a crunchier texture and more intact pulp than more well-known zucchini. Enjoy this sause over a piece of toast or baguette, on the seide with egg dishes, or on a pizza as well as pasta dishes.
