Albert Menes Cerise Noire Black Cherry Jam Extra 280g

Sour cherry jam made near Nice, from Morello cherries which have a beautiful black colour and fruity aromas. Picked when fully ripe, these cherries are first pitted, placed in sugar to preserve them, then cooked by hand in a copper cauldron pot. Jar are packed with whole cherries, adding a nice decorative touch and give the jam an extra rich texture. Perfect on a slice of toast or with pancakes. Works well for desserts such as a black forest gateau as well as sweet and savoury game dishes.
